"Patriotzii" ramashi in Romania si "Tradatorii" plecatzi ... - de bryan la: 07/02/2004 15:16:24
(la: Romani in strainatate)
I N C R E D I B I L! -a raspus femeia. Daca eu nu puteam sa convig un tzaran care are trebuia sa fie particula capitalismului, cum o sa-i conving eu me minerii!

Success,

Mircea-Camil

Dupa cite stiu eu: hebrew = evreu
israeli = israelian
jew = ? (eu credeam jidan---corectati-ma)
jewish = de religie ?

before the exile (cf. HEBREW sb. 1), but the commonest name for contemporary
or modern representatives of this group, now spread throughout the world. The
word `Jew' is also applied to groups, e.g. the Falashas in Ethiopia, not
ethnically related to persons of the main European groups, the Ashkenazim and
the Sephardim.

offspring of a Jewish mother or has been converted to the Jewish faith by the
Orthodox Rabbinate or by the Rabbis of the Jewish Reform Movement or by the

2 a transf. and offensive. As a name of opprobrium: spec. applied to a
grasping or extortionate person (whether Jewish or not) who drives hard
bargains.
In medieval England, Jews, though engaged in many pursuits, were particularly
familiar as money-lenders, their activities being publicly regulated for them
by the Crown, whose proteges they were. In private, Christians also practised
money-lending, though forbidden to do so by Canon Law. Thus the name of Jew
came to be associated in the popular mind with usury and any extortionate
practices that might be supposed to accompany it, and gained an opprobrious
sense.

Care-i baiul ? Pai e asa. In Germana se numeste Wellensittich. Stii ce glas are?

Revenind la iepuri, io tot nu-i spal. Cinstit sa fiu, are dreptate de fapt.

THis is just to inform you that the "Revolution" that is currently set in place in this country, led by a monkey and his chimps, is just showing off it's real nature, and most of what we thought about their real intentions is becoming a solid reality.

Please excuse the intro, but go on, as this is not a political statement.

Just a few days ago, and amendment to local Intellectual Property Law, by far one of the most modern copyright and intellectual property protection laws in the world, is about to suffer a massive and abusive modification, breaking out with all the previous international agreements signed by this country, including the Bern and Paris Conventions, The Uruguay Round and other older agreements.

Basically , a group of revolutionary artists, has introduced to the revolutionary congress a proposal for revolutionary change in IP laws to force creators to register with SAPI, our Copyright Office here in Caracas, as a formal requisite to enjoy the benefits of IP protection.
THIS MEANS THAT ANYTHNG THAT IS NOT FORMALLY REGISTERED IN THAT OFFICE, WILL BE CONSIDERED OF PUBLIC DOMAIN, AND ANYONE WILL BE ABLE TO COPY, DUPLICATE AND EVENTUALLY SELL THOSE ITEMS.

I am not joking fellows. THis is happening today here, and is totally and formally intended to legalise pirating of Music CD's and tapes,VHs; and DVD's and VCD's for films, and eventually , photography in all areas.
It is well known to us that one of the most important leaders of the revolution is the owner of the largest company dedicated to piracy of such discs (software, music and movies) and is making hundreds of millions in earnings from this business, and now he will have the legal rights to do so in the open, in a proper manner, all in the name of the revolution, to help "the people" against the empire, and all the crap you may think of.

After the last fraudulent elections a few weeks ago, the revolution has taken control of all state and goverment instances and offices and there is simply nothing to do at any legal and decent level against this and many past and coming abuses.
Anyone trying to set a legal defense against this abuses is considered and enemy of the revolution and they make sure to push you into doom by means I rather not discuss here.

So consider yourself warned., Those of you, Photographers and Agencies that are currently setting plans to cut deals with clients in this country, specially with the goverment, get to know how is it gonna be, or at least, make sure you get in writing a better deal for you products and services , although things in writing, like contracts, are just disposable paper and ink for the revolution. There are other modifications to the law that would not deal with our field, but are equally abusive in other areas ( pretended ownership of satellite/broadcast transmissions, etc).

I made my best not to turn this into a political thing, just the bare minumum as to set you on "warning mode", so please if anyone wants to comment on the political side, just keep it off this forum.

Talking about protection for RF files, well... just forget it. Not even RM (or RP or L for this
matter) will have it.

We are becoming the Planet of the Apes.

Best

Experts expect Katrina to turn New Orleans into Atlantis
Associated Press
August 28, 2005

When Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans on Monday, it could turn one of America's most charming cities into a vast cesspool tainted with toxic chemicals, human waste and even coffins released by floodwaters from the city's legendary cemeteries.

Experts have warned for years that the levees and pumps that usually keep New Orleans dry have no chance against a direct hit by a Category 5 storm.

That's exactly what Katrina was as it churned toward the city. With top winds of 165 mph and the power to lift sea level by as much as 28 feet above normal, the storm threatened an environmental disaster of biblical proportions, one that could leave more than 1 million people homeless.
"All indications are that this is absolutely worst-case scenario,'' Ivor van Heerden, deputy director of the Louisiana State University Hurricane Center, said Sunday afternoon.

The center's latest computer simulations indicate that by Tuesday, vast swaths of New Orleans could be under water up to 30 feet deep. In the French Quarter, the water could reach 20 feet, easily submerging the district's iconic cast-iron balconies and bars.

Estimates predict that 60 percent to 80 percent of the city's houses will be destroyed by wind. With the flood damage, most of the people who live in and around New Orleans could be homeless.

"We're talking about in essence having — in the continental United States — having a refugee camp of a million people,'' van Heerden said.
Aside from Hurricane Andrew, which struck Miami in 1992, forecasters have no experience with Category 5 hurricanes hitting densely populated areas.

"Hurricanes rarely sustain such extreme winds for much time. However we see no obvious large-scale effects to cause a substantial weakening the system and it is expected that the hurricane will be of Category 4 or 5 intensity when it reaches the coast,'' National Hurricane Center meteorologist Richard Pasch said.

As they raced to put meteorological instruments in Katrina's path Sunday, wind engineers had little idea what their equipment would record.

"We haven't seen something this big since we started the program,'' said Kurt Gurley, a University of Florida engineering professor. He works for the Florida Coastal Monitoring Program, which is in its seventh year of making detailed measurements of hurricane wind conditions using a set of mobile weather stations.

Experts have warned about New Orleans' vulnerability for years, chiefly because Louisiana has lost more than a million acres of coastal wetlands in the past seven decades. The vast patchwork of swamps and bayous south of the city serves as a buffer, partially absorbing the surge of water that a hurricane pushes ashore.

Experts have also warned that the ring of high levees around New Orleans, designed to protect the city from floodwaters coming down the Mississippi, will only make things worse in a powerful hurricane. Katrina is expected to push a 28-foot storm surge against the levees. Even if they hold, water will pour over their tops and begin filling the city as if it were a sinking canoe.

After the storm passes, the water will have nowhere to go.
In a few days, van Heerden predicts, emergency management officials are going to be wondering how to handle a giant stagnant pond contaminated with building debris, coffins, sewage and other hazardous materials.

"We're talking about an incredible environmental disaster,'' van Heerden said.

He puts much of the blame for New Orleans' dire situation on the very levee system that is designed to protect southern Louisiana from Mississippi River floods.

Before the levees were built, the river would top its banks during floods and wash through a maze of bayous and swamps, dropping fine-grained silt that nourished plants and kept the land just above sea level.
The levees "have literally starved our wetlands to death'' by directing all of that precious silt out into the Gulf of Mexico, van Heerden said.
It has been 40 years since New Orleans faced a hurricane even comparable to Katrina. In 1965, Hurricane Betsy, a Category 3 storm, submerged some parts of the city to a depth of seven feet.

Since then, the Big Easy has had nothing but near misses. In 1998, Hurricane Georges headed straight for New Orleans, then swerved at the last minute to strike Mississippi and Alabama. Hurricane Lili blew herself out at the mouth of the Mississippi in 2002. And last year's Hurricane Ivan obligingly curved to the east as it came ashore, barely grazing a grateful city.

"In truth, the tragedy of Katrina can be blamed on ALL Americans. Katrina resulted in a far greater catastrophe because Americans have ignored the warnings of scientists and environmentalists for many, many years. I am not now, nor have I been, assigning blame to Republicans or Democrats, or to anyone working their asses off night and day during this tragedy to help those poor people down there.
But I DO blame the American people and their disgusting attitude in demonizing those who push for more environmental concern..................those scientists and environmentally concerned people who warn of us impending disasters and are ignored and often insulted. Just listen to the ditto heads on Rush Limbaugh and all the other radio talk shows, and follow the slick propaganda campaigns from the big corporations (oil, development, real estate, etc. etc.), and then just read your local papers and see the slimy developers greasing the palms of local officials to get around environmental legislation...........................

And all this seems ok to the American people!!! Even fashionable. And we elect and reelect the politicians who make all this happen because we really don't give a damn and because it seems so American, so Rush Limbaugh, to push to have it all, right now, make lots of money, push the frontiers, and humiliate those who express concern and caution. We insult the scientists who warn us, and listen to the corporate-paid "scientists" who refute them and tell us it is ok to develop that marsh or tell us that our lifestyle has nothing to do with global warming. We build our homes on barrier islands against all warnings, we buy SUV's and support politicians who push for loopholes to allow bigger and bigger guzzlers. We opt out happily out of international movements and aggreements that are trying to come to grips with the continuing degradation of our seas and air and land and pollution............. all because we don't want our "lifestyle" curtailed. It is all about "I want, I want, I want". Over the last couple of decades it has become quite fashionable to be a basher of the environmental movement.............to oppose the scientists, the legislation, and those who express concern about thoughtless and destructive growth. Alan Parsons Project - Eye in the sky

Don't think sorry's easily said
Don't try turning tables instead
You've taken lots of chances before
But I ain't gonna give any more
Don't ask me
That's how it goes
'Cause part of me knows what you're thinking...
Don't say words you're gonna regret
Don't let the fire rush to your head
I've heard the accusaation before
And I ain't gonna take any more
Believe me
The sun in your eyes
Made some of the lies worth believing

I am the eye in the sky
Looking at you
I can read your mind
Iam the maker of rules
Dealing with fools
I can cheat you blind
And I don't need to see any more
To know that I can read your mind, I can read your mind

Don't leave false illusions behind
Don't cry 'cause I ain't changing my mind
Soo find another fool like before
'Cause I ain't gonna live anymore believing
Some of the lies while all of the signs are deceivïng

Lenny Kravitz - Can't get you off my mind

Life is just a lonely highway
I'm out here on the open road
I'm old enough to see behind me
But young enough to feel my soul
I don't wanna lose you baby
And I don't wanna be alone
Don't wanna live my days without you
But for now I've got to be without you

I've got a pocket full of money
And pocket full of keys that have no bounds
But then I think of lovin'
And I just can't get you off of my mind

Babe can't you see
That this is killing me
I don't want to push you baby
And I don't want you to be told
It's just that I can't breathe without you
Feel like I'm gonna lose control

I've got a pocket full of money oh yes I do
And a pocket full of keys that have no bounds
But when it comes to lovin'
I just can't get you off of my mind, yeaaah

Am I a fool to think that there's a little hope
Yeah yeahhhhhheee yeah
Tell me baby, yeah
What are the rules the reasons and the do's and don'ts
Yeah yeahhhhhheee yeah
Tell me baby tell me baby, yeah
What do you feel inside?

I've got a pocket full of money
And a pocket full of keys that have no bounds
Oh yeah
But when it comes down to lovin'
I just can't get you off of my mind, yeah
I just can't get you off of my mïnd, yeah.

The Puzzles
The man in the Elevator
A man lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every day he takes the elevator to go down to the ground floor to go to work or to go shopping. When he returns he takes the elevator to the seventh floor and walks up the stairs to reach his apartment on the tenth floor. He hates walking so why does he do it?
This is probably the best known and most celebrated of all lateral thinking puzzles. It is a true classic. Although there are many possible solutions which fit the initial conditions, only the canonical answer is truly satisfying.

The Man who Hanged Himself
Not far from Madrid, there is a large wooden barn. The barn is completely empty except for a dead man hanging from the middle of the central rafter. The rope around his neck is ten feet long and his feet are three feet off the ground. The nearest wall is 20 feet away from the man. It is not possible to climb up the walls or along the rafters. The man hanged himself. How did he do it?

Death in a Field
A man is lying dead in a field. Next to him there is an unopened package. There is no other creature in the field. How did he die?

Anthony and Cleopatra
Anthony and Cleopatra are lying dead on the floor of a villa in Egypt. Nearby is a broken bowl. There is no mark on either of their bodies and they were not poisoned. How did they die?

The Coal, Carrot and Scarf
Five pieces of coal, a carrot and a scarf are lying on the lawn. Nobody put them on the lawn but there is a perfectly logical reason why they should be there. What is it?

Trouble with Sons
A woman had two sons who were born on the same hour of the same day of the same year. But they were not twins, and they were not adopted. How could this be so?

Push that Car
A man pushed his car. He stopped when he reached a hotel at which point he knew he was bankrupt. Why?

The Arm of the Postal Service
One day a man received a parcel in the post. Carefully packed inside was a human arm. He examined it, repacked it and then sent it on to another man. The second man also carefully examined the arm before taking it to the woods and burying it. Why did they do this?
This one probably has more variations than any other. A great one to puzzle out. It requires plenty of good questions.

Heaven
A man died and went to Heaven. There were thousands of other people there. They were all naked and all looked as they did at the age of 21. He looked around to see if there was anyone he recognised. He saw a couple and he knew immediately that they were Adam and Eve. How did he know?

Friday
A man rode into town on Friday. He stayed for three nights and then left on Friday. How come?
A silly one - but it is surprisingly popular.

Manhole Covers
Why is it better to have round manhole covers than square ones?
This is logical rather than lateral, but it is a good puzzle which can be solved by lateral thinking techniques. It is supposedly used by a very well-known software company as an interview question for prospective employees.

The Deadly Party
A man went to a party and drank some of the punch. He then left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning. Why did the man not die?

The Deadly Dish
Two men went into a restaurant. They both ordered the same dish from the menu. After they tasted it, one of the men went outside the restaurant and shot himself. Why?

The Realization
A man was walking downstairs in a building when he suddenly realized that his wife had just died. How?

The Blind Beggar
A blind beggar had a brother who died. What relation was the blind beggar to the brother who died? (Brother is not the answer).

The Broken Match
A man is found dead in a field. He is clutching a broken match. What happened?

The Music Stopped
The music stopped. She died. Explain.

Swimmer in the Forest
Deep in the forest was found the body of a man who was wearing only swimming trunks, snorkel and facemask. The nearest lake was 8 miles away and the sea was 100 miles away. How had he died?
This is supposedly based on a true incident. Does this make it an urban legend? Many urban legends can be restated as lateral thinking puzzles. This is a very good one of this type.

The Elder Twin
One day Kerry celebrated her birthday. Two days later her older twin brother, Terry, celebrated his birthday. How come?

atarnand pe usa!
gaga, lasa treaba draga
vino de ne roaga
sa-ti facem un ness
sau de vrei, un fes ;)
pifanelul mic
este tot racit,
cu ea am vorbit
ieri la asfintit,
nasu-i tot curgea,
febra o supara :(
sa-i trimitem deci,
ciocolate, zeci!
sa se intremeze
raceala curmeze,
si vro doi pupici
din aceia "plici".
guinevere... vreau si eu sa zbor
cu al tau planor
daca nea' pilotu'
nu este chiar hotu'
ce mi-o luat in zbor
inima-mi, cu dor.
cactusel ce mic,
mic si pricajit
stai tu doar pe tusa...
nu vrei, dupa usa
sa ne-ascundem noi,
doar noi amandoi?
si sa stam pe vine
si cand lumea vine
noi sa ne hlizim
si sa povestim ;)...

si acum , pentru baietei:
1.pentru cei prin preajma...

tatiku-le,
dragutzule,
ce mai faci micutule?
azi e zi de mucenici
si gandit-am ca de-aici
sa-ti trimit in dar un gând
ce il scriu acum, in rând.
rând de vers si nu de coada,
ca sa nu fie corvoada,
ci sa fie bucurie,
de la mine - ca simbrie;)
ca esti un tatik aparte,
si cuminte, si cu carte.
LA MULTI ANI, sa ne traiesti
si multi ani sa-nveselesti!

2.pentru cei plecati...

un Intrus si-un cosmacpan
au plecat dupa un plan,
plan de munca si corvoada
incuiat e intr-o lada.
Nenea Latu, tot la fel!
munca-i este din penel
si toti neuronii-s pushi
sa gandeasca acush-acush
de aceea, baieteii
dusi cu treaba, mititeii,
nu au timp sa vina
nici seara, nici pe lumina.

noi, fetite asa cuminti,
