Unfortunately, in 1999 García Márquez was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer, and to this day he suffers under a regimen of treatments, often taking him from Cartagena or Mexico City to clinics in Los Angeles, where his son, filmmaker Rodrigo García, lives.
Setting aside fiction for the time being, Gabo is concentrating on writing his memoirs, the first volume of which was published in 2001 as Vivir para contarla, or To Live to Tell It. Instantly selling out its first print run in Latin America, the volume quickly became the best selling book ever in the Spanish-speaking world. (It was recently published in the United States by Knopf, who will bring out an English translation sometime in late 2003.) The first of a promised set of three volumes, Vivir para contarla details Gabo's life up until 1955. He is currently at work on Volume II, which will focus on the writing and publication of his major works, including One Hundred Years of Solitude.

Veste importanta din Franta - de Dinu Lazar la: 22/05/2004 15:07:17
(la: O conversatie cu DINU LAZAR, fotograf)
Scrie un fotograf din Franta:

For those who intend to photography in France (you know the place where people have so exotic names, according to B. Yarvin) we have good news .
The cour de Cassation (our Supreme Court) has just stated a decision which largely is in favour of the photographers . I quote verbatim :
Translation in my bad english : the owner of goods is not the exclusive owner of the image of these goods . The jurisprudence is so clear now that we can shoot buildings, houses and so on whithout fearing to loose in Court . There is one condition of course : not to be detrimental to the owner, by giving his adress for instance

Pai, in acord cu Oxford English Dictionary, o rubrica zice: "Possessing a high degree of understanding; given to pursuits that exercise the intellect."

Oh boy, o discutie despre homosexuali intre romani? Si ramine intre limite decente? I'm impressed.

Apoi, cresti in virsta, mai inveti ceva despre oameni, mai cunosti pe careva care dupa vreo doi ani ti se spune ca e homosexual... si-ti schimbi parerea, daca ai un pic de umanitate ramasa in tine. Cel putin mi s-a intimplat mie.

Acum citiva ani a fost peste tot in "news" ca HOS au un creier diferit decit HES, si se vede concret in CAT scans si MRI. Aha! Deci aici e partea din corp careia i s-a schimbat structura. Foarte tolerant. Niciodata o aluzie la sexualitate. Inalt, sanatos, manierat, "very english." Ce face el in dormitor? None of my business!

What's my point?

Hei, e posibil. Cind vine Isus, daca zice: "Pai nu v-ati dat seama ca era propaganda diavolului?" No proof whatsoever.

Sa trecem la spelling ( in English ).
In limba Engleza, , Romani, Romania a fost scris ( spelled ), Roumanian, Roumania.
In British English scrisul ( spelling-ul )a ramas Roumanian si Roumania. In limba Franceza este scris tot cu "OU "
Sa treaca napoi la Spelling-ul : Roumania, sau sa schimbe denumirea "TZIGANULUI" din "Roma" in "RRoma", cum folosesc in ultimul timp Romanii.

"Quo vadis Domine", tradus "Incotro Domnule" ( nu stiu daca ai studiat Latina ) de acea ti-am tradus.

Asa ca, avind in vedere definitiile de mai sus, as spune ca urmatoarele afirmatii din banc sint/ ar fii un atac rasist:

No!It's not your imagination!Pt. LMC - de Little Eagle la: 22/06/2004 21:04:56
Dear sister,

I wish I could write you in english,but...avand poate mai multe de spus,sa scriu un text complet in engleza,as risca sa nu fie publicat de Admin(a.k.a Daniel).

Uneori,I'm tesing some brothers&sisters and I did it with you too,so please forgive me,dar nu cu intentii rele ci asa cum fratii si surorile au felul lor de a se purta unii cu altii,tu stii bine avand 2 frati.

hai sa-ti zic una interesanta, numele fiind o simpla coincidenta.
And don't worry,you're not alone.

Te sarut mult de pe cealalta coasta,

"Love is something you and I must have.We must have it because our spirit feeds upon it.We must have it because without it we become weak and faint.Without love our self-esteem weakens.Without it our courage fails.Without love we can no longer look out confidently at the world. We turn inward and begin to feed upon our own personalities, and little by little we destroy ourselves.
With it we are creative. With it we march tirelessly. With it,and with it alone,we are able to sacrifice for others."

Dupa cite stiu eu: hebrew = evreu
israeli = israelian
jew = ? (eu credeam jidan---corectati-ma)
jewish = de religie ?

Orig. a Hebrew of the kingdom of Judah, as opposed to those of the ten tribes
of Israel; later, any Israelite who adhered to the worship of Jehovah as
conducted at Jerusalem. Applied comparatively rarely to the ancient nation
before the exile (cf. HEBREW sb. 1), but the commonest name for contemporary
or modern representatives of this group, now spread throughout the world. The
word `Jew' is also applied to groups, e.g. the Falashas in Ethiopia, not
ethnically related to persons of the main European groups, the Ashkenazim and
the Sephardim.

Un f. bun amic si suflet cum rar gasesti in lume,a scris aceste cuvinte si cantec, numele lui este Pete Townshend, versurile lui vor spune exact TOTUL:

"I am a man who looks after the pigs,
Usually I get along okay.
I am a man who reveals what he digs,
Should be more careful what I say.

I'm getting put down
I'm getting pushed round,
I'm being beaten every day...
My life's fading
But things are changing,
I'm not gonna sit and weep again...

I am a man who drives a local bus
I take miners to work but the pits are closed today,
It's easy to see that you are one of us
Ain't it funny how we all seem to look the same????...

We're getting put down...etc

My Karma tells me
You've been screwed again
If you let them do it to you
You've got yourself to blame
It's you who feels the pain,
It's you who feels ashamed...

I am a young man
I ain't done very much,
You men should remember how you used to fight.
Just like a child,I've been seeing only dreams
I'm all mixed up but I know what's right,

I'm getting put down,etc

Love &peace,
Pete Townshend-lyrics,songs+guitars
