Cum? In ziua de azi numai Chirac si Putin fac zarva pe tema implicarii ONU in Irak. Chinezii is cei mai tacuti, probabil ca sapa si ei pe langa Taiwan in speranta de a gasi titei...

Rugaminte - de Hypatia la: 12/01/2004 11:26:24

Hypatia

Buna seara!

- please capture a wide variety of shots, including different versions of the same type of shot. The images are for a brochure for the travel agency about the private train ride available, so all images should include the passengers. There are 100 passengers total but you don't need to photograph all of them, just focus on the people that look good, are not too old, are well dresses and photographic. Also to show how the Program Directors (there should be at least 3) help and guide the passengers through the day. No close-ups of the passengers unless you can tell that they're on the train or touring in Constanta
Photos need to be light and bright in quality. Try to avoid dark deep shades whenever possible. Sharp and deep depth of field images. They do not like blurry or soft looking photos. People in general should appear happy and pleasant.
Clients arriving at private railway station (Bucharest-Baneasa railway station)
Exterior shoots of the train - long and medium angles in relationship the station
Clients boarding the train - long and medium angles
PD's assisting clients throughout the day
Conductor or train personal helping the clients
Interiors of the train w/clients enjoying their ride, socializing, etc.
Interior - cafe car with pax and crew
Interior - PDs talking with pax (may have to set this up)
Arrival - Pax getting off train, exterior of train in station, etc.
In Constanta - general shots of pax taking city tour and scenics of the city, pax walking along the boardwalk and after or before their lunch walking on the black sea.
When returning look for the same type of shots as described above.

Anita unde esti?)
Sharon defends plan to evacuate Gaza settlements
Eds: UPDATES with Sharon backing for referendum, graf 4
AP Photos
By KARIN LAUB
Associated Press Writer
JERUSALEM (AP) - Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Wednesday
defended his plan to dismantle virtually all Jewish
settlements in Gaza, amid new signs that the proposal is
threatening the stability of his government.
Ten lawmakers from the ruling Likud Party sent a letter to
Sharon threatening to abandon the prime minister if he
moves forward with his plans without their consent.
«We announce beforehand that it will be very difficult
for us to support this plan without the approval of the
Likud institutions on this sensitive subject,» the
lawmakers wrote. They added that they would not support the
entry of the opposition Labor Party into the government.
A senior official said Sharon would put his unilateral
disengagement plan - including removing some settlements
and imposing a boundary on the West Bank if peace talks
fail - before a national referendum, as demanded by Likud
lawmakers. The official, speaking on condition of
anonymity, said Sharon would welcome the idea of putting
the plan before the people, because the issue cuts across
ideological lines and «has overwhelming support among the
public.»
Labor said Tuesday that it would back Sharon's plan,
assuring him of a parliamentary majority even if two
ultranationalist parties quit the government.
But one of the lawmakers who signed Wednesday's letter,
Yuli Edelstein, claimed the group had enough support from
other Likud members to block any parliamentary majority for
Sharon.
Even if the effort fails, the letter reflected the
internal divisions that Sharon faces over his Gaza pullout
plan.
Sharon on Tuesday shrugged off the growing threats, saying
he is determined to go ahead with plans to remove 17
settlements in Gaza and three in the West Bank without
waiting for a peace deal with the Palestinians. He said he
would try to form a new governing coalition rather than
back down.
The prime minister's surprise announcement Monday has
divided Israelis into two camps: those who believe Sharon,
for decades the main architect of Jewish settlement
expansion, is truly changing course; and those who suspect
him of trying to sow confusion and deflect attention from a
widening corruption probe against him.
Sharon said Wednesday that his plan is not related to the
corruption probe, Israel radio reported. Speaking to
reporters at the Israeli parliament building, he said he
was moving forward in spite of his legal troubles, not
because of them.
Sharon, who has denied wrongdoing, is to be questioned by
police Thursday on suspicion he accepted bribes from an
Israeli real-estate developer.
Commentators said whatever Sharon's motives, his
declaration has created irreversible facts, and no future
prime minister could demand to hold on to parts of Gaza in
a peace deal with the Palestinians. «The words that were
uttered can never be taken back,» commentator Dan Margalit
wrote in the Maariv daily.
Opinion polls suggested that Sharon has broad public
support for dismantling most Gaza settlements, increasingly
seen by many Israelis as a security burden. Israel controls
one-third of the strip, while 1.3 million Palestinians
share the rest.
In his first public comment on the issue Tuesday, Sharon
avoided mention of Gaza but said he was determined to press
ahead with the removal of settlements.
«Not only is this difficult for the settlers, but also,
it is more painful for myself than anyone else in Israel,»
Sharon said during a visit of the coastal city of Ashkelon.
«But I've reached a decision and I am going to carry it
out.»
Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia told Palestinian
radio he wants to see «deeds, not words. We want to see
them leaving the whole Gaza Strip, leaving Gaza as
liberated Palestinian land and leaving us to concentrate on
their withdrawal from the West Bank.»
In the West Bank on Wednesday, the army said it had
arrested a senior operative in the militant Al Aqsa
Martyrs' Brigades in the village of Tubas. Palestinian
sources identified the man as Jihad Sawafta, who they said
had escaped an Israeli assassination attempt in 2002.
Senior aides to Sharon and Qureia were scheduled to meet
Wednesday in hopes of arranging a meeting between the two
prime ministers, the two sides confirmed. A summit would be
a crucial step in reviving the U.S.-backed «road map»
peace plan.
The talks were to focus on Israel's contentious West Bank
separation barrier - which the Palestinians oppose - and
Palestinian efforts to persuade militant groups to halt
attacks on Israelis, Palestinian officials said.
Efforts to bring the two men together have faltered since
Qureia took office in October, and the road map has been
stalled for months. But Qureia has come under pressure
recently from the United States and Egypt, a key mediator
between Israel and the Palestinians, to agree to a meeting.
The road map aims for an independent Palestinian state,
alongside Israel, by 2005.
«This is maybe their last opportunity to implement the
road map,» a senior Israeli official, speaking on
condition of anonymity, said of a possible summit.
A top security adviser to Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat
on Wednesday accused the United States of «blackmailing»
the Palestinians.
Jibril Rajoub said the Americans have threatened to
disengage from the peace process unless the Palestinians
arrest those responsible for an October bomb blast in Gaza
that killed three Americans traveling in a diplomatic
convoy.
«You know that the Americans stopped their involvement
waiting for the results of the investigation,» Rajoub told
foreign journalists. «I think that this is blackmail.»
American officials have said they are disappointed with
the lack of cooperation by Palestinian security forces in
the search for the perpetrators.
Sharon has said repeatedly in recent weeks that he plans
to take unilateral steps in the West Bank and Gaza -
dismantling some settlements, redeploying troops and
imposing a boundary - if there is no progress on the road
map in the coming months.

Tatal Nostru... - de LMC la: 07/07/2004 00:21:03
(la: PUTEREA RUGACIUNII)
O, Birther of the Cosmos, focus your light within us -- make it useful
Create your reign of unity now
Your one desire then acts with ours,
As in all light,
So in all forms,
Grant us what we need each day in bread and insight:
Loose the cords of mistakes binding us,
As we release the strands we hold of other's guilt.
Don't let surface things delude us,
But free us from what holds us back.
From you is born all ruling will,
The power and the life to do,
The song that beautifies all,
From age to age it renews.
I affirm this with my whole being.

O problema este insa scufundatul in sine. In Egipt scufundarile se fac in grup cu minim 4 persoane (cazul cel mai fericit) si maxim xx (in cazul meu am fost 17) insotiti de un dive master. Acesta face planul scufundarii, traseu, durata, adancime si are grija ca toti membrii grupului sa se incadreze in el.

Uneori iau in considerare si market ul ( geografic ) unde vind aceste prezentari.

Altfel, La Multi Ani ! si un An Nou fericit tuturor!
Petre

The show must go on - de Dinu Lazar la: 08/03/2005 15:09:45

Breda Photo Fair

2nd International Photo Fair

From the 23rd to 25th of September 2005 Breda Photo Fair will be presenting an international company of photo gallery’s, art photographs, publishers and specialized antiquarian book dealers. Breda Photo Fair forms part of the photo festival Breda Photo 2005.

A great number of cultural activities take place throughout the year under the late gothic arches of “Onze Lieve Vrouwen” church - the most beautiful building of Breda. Breda Photo Fair has chosen this magnificent location to organize the 2nd International Photo Fair, an unique event in the Benelux whereby quality and diversity are of the highest priority. The set-up of the fair is professional and luxurious and is managed by the same organisation as the antique fair “Antiqui Breda”.

Ambitions
The ambitions are high. Breda Photo Fair will develop into an event that can meets the same level as the photo fairs in London, Paris, Cologne and New York.

Interest
The national and international interest in photography is growing. Museums often buy photo collections, the number of private individuals that collect art photos is rising and an increasing number of gallery’s specialise in art photography. Breda Photo Fair will therefore host a number national and international galleries.

Since the development of photography as an art form many devoted publishers and designers have published expensive and rare photo books. Breda Photo Fair will host a selective group of publishers and dealers in rare book.

New talent
Besides national and international photo galleries, independent art photographers are invited to present themselves to the public and the professional photo galleries. Before the application to attend the fair is approved the collection of the photographer is subject to inspection by an independent vetting committee. An additional condition is that the photographer is not represented by a national or international photo gallery.

Breda Photo 2005
Breda Photo Fair forms part of the festival Breda Photo 2005. In 2003 the festival received a lot of national and international publicity.

With the title ‘Imaginary Beauty’ Breda Photo 2005 starts on the 17th of September and closes five weeks later on the 23rd of October. A series of exhibitions in the “Beyerd”, Breda’s Museum and “Lokaal 01” will focus on this theme. Besides that there are many smaller exhibitions spread over several locations within the boundaries of the city.

The heart of the festival is the Photo Hall which offers an experimental program: short exhibitions, lectures, workshops, performances, links with other disciplines and meetings with photographers and photo collectors. As in 2003 an “Amateur Weekend” and “Youth Project” will be held. A close cooperation is established with the photo museum in Rotterdam and Antwerp. Information is available at www.bredaphoto.nl .
