Iata si-n engleza:

We, the Women of the World denounce the violence and the various forms of exploitation that men have inflicted and continue to inflict on us for millennia :

for our bound feet
our necks imprisoned in rings
our sex cut or sewn up
our plate-lips or our pierced ears
our chastity belts or virginity controls
our corsets that suffocate us
for our bodies anorexically starved or fattened according to their rules
for the women they deprive of education, liberty, autonomy
for the women shut into harems or in the home
behind the veil, the tchador, the tchadri or the burqa
for the precocious weddings, the imposed sexual intercourse
the unwanted pregnancies, the forced sterilizations
the abortion of female fetuses
for polygyny, repudiation, the dowry system
the discrimination in inheritance
for economic exploitation, domestic slavery, the double work day
for the blows, the insults, the moral and sexual harassment
for the private or collective rapes
for pornography, prostitution
women sold in “ temporary marriages ” or by Organized crime
for the acid throwing, the stoning and the rite of Sati
for the “ witches ” burned alive
for the honor killings, the murders of women
for religious or political slaughters
for the little girls they kill or prevent from being born : 100.000.000 women missing in the world …

for the control they have exercised and continue to exercise on our lives
for our lives that they have stolen
for our intelligence that they have smothered
for the divisions they have created among us to keep us enslaved,

for all the appalling crimes men have committed against women since time immemorial,
for having made us the symbol of EVIL in the misogynous religions they have created in their own image, a characteristic tenet of any racist ideology,

A man who was beaten by an attacker while trying to extinguish a trash can fire during riots north of Paris has died of his injuries, becoming the first fatality since the urban unrest started 11 days ago, a police official said Monday. Youths overnight injured three dozen officers and burned more than 1,400 vehicles.

Raincy, one of the towns in suburban Paris hit by rioting, was preparing Monday to enact a nightime curfew, the mayor's office said.

A top aide to Mayor Eric Raoult said the curfew was expected to be enacted Monday night or Tuesday. Details were still be drawn up, he said. He refused to be identified by name, saying Raoult himself would release details later.

The official would not say how the curfew might work. But he said that another suburban Paris town had in the past instituted a curfew to stop teenagers under age 15 from being out on the streets after 10 p.m. at night.

The curfew empowered police to take the teenagers home or to a police station where their parents had to come to collect them, he said.

Meanwhile, apparent copycat attacks spread to other European cities for the first time, with five cars torched outside Brussels' main train station, police in the Belgian capital said.

Australia, Austria and Britain became the latest countries to advise their citizens to exercise care in France, joining the United States and Russia in warning tourists to stay away from violence-hit areas.

Alain Rahmouni, a national police spokesman, said the man who was beaten died at a hospital from injuries sustained in the attack, but he had no immediate details about the victim's age or his attacker.

The man was caught by surprise by an attacker after rushing out of his apartment building to put out the fire, Rahmouni said.

Clashes around France left 36 police injured, and vandals burned 1,408 vehicles overnight Sunday-Monday, setting a new high for overnight arson and violence since the rioting started Oct. 27, national police chief Michel Gaudin said.

The mayhem started as an outburst of anger in suburban Paris housing projects and has fanned out nationwide among disaffected youths, mostly of Muslim or African origin, to become France's worst civil unrest in over a decade.

Attacks overnight were reported in 274 towns and police made 395 arrests, Gaudin said.

"This spread, with a sort of shock wave spreading across the country, shows up in the number of towns affected," Gaudin said, noting that the violence appeared to be sliding away from its flash point in the Parisian suburbs and worsening elsewhere.

It was the first time police were injured by weapons fire amid signs that rioters were deliberately seeking out clashes with police, officials said.

Among the injured police, 10 were injured by youths firing fine-grain birdshot in a late night clash in the southern Paris suburb of Grigny, national police spokesman Patrick Hamon said. Two were hospitalized but their lives were not in danger. One was wounded in the neck, the other in the legs.

The unrest began in the low-income Paris suburb of
Clichy-sous-Bois, after the deaths of two teenagers of Mauritanian and Tunisian origin. The youths were accidentally electrocuted as they hid from police in a power substation. They apparently thought they were being chased.

There have been 4,700 cars burned in France since the rioting began, and 1,200 suspects have been detained at least temporarily, Gaudin said.

eu ii vorbesc copilului romaneste, in engleza insist doar pe "comenzile" care sunt f utilizate in dialogul de la gradinita, educator/copil (ex: wash your hands, pick it up, go sit down, plese, thank you, we have to share, take turns etc).

Domnule Homo Stultus
1.1 Revolta a izbucnit in 68 - 70 e.n. Aici noi vorbim de anul 26 e.n.
1.2 Pastele evreiesc e o sarbatoare f. importanta pt. evrei. E comemorarea scaparii evreilor din robia egipteana. Acest act a pus in evidenta stransa legatura dintre Dumnezeu si poporul seu.

"Deuteronomy Chapter 18

And the LORD said unto me: 'They have well said that which they have spoken. 18 I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee; and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it of him. 20 But the prophet, that shall speak a word presumptuously in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.' 21 And if thou say in thy heart: 'How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?' 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken; the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously, thou shalt not be afraid of him. {S}"
"that same prophet shall die" = proorocul acela sa fie pedepsit cu moartea.

A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles or identities differing from their own. The origin of the word in English dates back to at least 1598, via Middle French, and started with the sense of religious hypocrite, especially a woman.

To the point

‘To the point of breaking, the rope was stretched. At the end of which hung a twitching, whey-faced Arthur, and his pig, Marmite.
Marmite struggled and squealed as the sky and sea tilted, roller coaster style, the cliff jabbing into his side. A two hundred metre drop. Arthur was having a hard time holding on.
Marmite had been the runt of the litter. Arthur raised him from a half dead scrap to a 250 pound monster. There had been one attempt to load Marmite into the slaughterer's van, but Arthur, fierce and steadfast, blocked the ramp. And on this one thing Arthur's father acquiesced. He had given his son so little, but he saw that Arthur truly loved Marmite. Marmite, however, did not love Arthur.
That morning, when Arthur had taken Marmite breakfast, he found Marmite pensive. Marmite didn't even attempt to charge Arthur, but remained in the corner and absently glanced over, before showing his fat, quivering rump, disappearing into the hut.
Arthur was worried. Marmite off his food? This had never happened before. Was he unwell? No, the vet had checked him over just yesterday. He was in good health. Arthur edged towards the hut, calling Marmite's name. Some fresh air. A walk. That might be just the ticket.
To the furthest field, at the top of the cliffs, Arthur dragged a reluctant Marmite. The view was marvellous, wraparound sky, steely grey sea. Arthur felt they should stay to enjoy it. He tied the rope, which was attached to Marmite's collar, to a nearby bench. They sat down by the edge.
Arthur tried to reason with Marmite. It was a lovely day. The sun was out. The world was a good place.
Marmite did not respond.
Arthur tried a different tack. He and Marmite might go further. They might stroll across to the woods, have a root through the undergrowth. Acorns and everything, Arthur said.
Marmite snorted.
Finally, Arthur reached across to stroke Marmite's wrinkled brow, and that was when Marmite lurched, screaming, at Arthur, knocking them both over the edge. The rope whipped tight, catching Marmite as he fell. Arthur, in his descent, threw out a hand and scrabbled for the rope, his feet bouncing off Marmite's head.
And thus, they hung from the rope. And there was no doubt about it - it was him or the pig. Arthur's fingers reached for Marmite's collar.’

Englezul zice:
"Am 10 copii acasa si daca as mai face unul as avea o echipa de fotbal!"
In sfarsit, arabul zice: "Eu am 17 neveste acasa".
(precizare pt neinitiati-terenul de golf are 18 gauri)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

"One of Jung's favourite quotes on synchronicity was from Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll, in which the White Queen says to Alice: "It's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards"

cam asta-i treaba cu semnele.
nu cred in ele.
