IN cursul ultimelor 15 min am ascultat 3 piese descoperite de curand ,sunt superbe si vi le recomand.De obicei nu prea recomand muzica,la urma urmei avem gusturi diferite,dar melodiile astea chiar merita apreciate:
"Lily was here"- Dave Stewart si Candy Dulfer ,saxofonul e fantastic
"Goodbye"-David Sanborn
"Love story"-Andy Williams ,sau orice alta varianta

Signs that you "just might" have a drinking problem.

You lose arguments with inanimate objects.
You have to hold onto the lawn to keep from falling off the earth.
Your job is interfering with your drinking.
Your doctor finds traces of blood in your alcohol stream.
Sincerely believe alcohol to be the elusive 5th food group.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence?? I think not!
Two hands and just one mouth ... now THAT'S a drinking problem!
The parking lot seems to have moved while you were in the bar.
Every woman you see has an exact twin.
You fall off the floor.
Hey, 5 beers has just as many calories as a burger -- forget dinner!
The glass keeps missing your mouth.
Bill Clinton starts to make sense.
Mosquitoes catch a buzz after biting you.
The whole bar says 'Hi' when you come in.
"Hi ocifer. I'm not under the affluence of incohol."
You have a reserved parking space at the liquor store.
"BeerTender! Get me another Bar!"
~~~~~~~~~~
A guy was sitting in a bar, drinking away. Suddenly he says to the bartender, "I have to go home or the wife will be mad".
(at this point he was loaded drunk)
He climbed down from the bar stool, and fell flat on his face. The man then said "I can't walk and I didn't have that much to drink?".
He gets up to give it another try, this time the same thing happens and he falls flat to his face. He says "I have to get home some way or the wife will kill me if I don't get home soon"!
He gets an idea of crawling home, so away he went crawling home. He crawled up to his apartment and slowely snuck into bed with his wife trying not to wake her.
The next morning he woke up to see his wife running in the room. She said "you were out drinking again last night weren't you!"
The man replied with "NO WAY!"
And the wife said "YOU LIAR!
The bartender just called and said you left your wheelchair at the club again last night"!
Stii, cred ca vizite scurte in tara pentru vizitarea locurilor dragi pot veni ca un balsam pentru suflet. Amintirile au nevoie sa fie improspatate pentru a ramane vii (poate chiar pentru a ne tine vii). Pentru inceput vei fi intampinata bine dar se vor gasi binevoitori sa-ti spuna ca n-ai mancat salam cu soia alaturi de noi. So, stay where you are! We're staying here to close the light!
Intii trebuie sa specific ca nu imi luasem timp sa descriu iubirea, deci ce este acolo a fost primul meu mesaj pe acest site,doar un raspuns foarte scurt la alte mesaje care le citisem.
Ramin la parerea mea ca dragostea CRESTE si are si de-a face si cu anii pe care reusesti sa ii stai cu fiinta pe care ai ales-o.
Daca dragostea exista cu adevarat. Sau daca este strong enough sa creasca, daca nu, se va vesteji incet. Imi amintesc pasaje literare cind unii compara dragostea cu un muguras, altii cu un trandafir inflorit. Altii cu un copac cu radacini puternice pe care furtunile nu il doboara.
CRESTEREA este garantia progresului in orice in aceasta viata,(the reason we are here!!;))...ca este fizic, spiritual sau emotional, deci Iubirea cu atit mai mult. Sigur pe de o parte ne dorim sa fim iubiti ca in prima zi, pe de alta parte asta nu este destul...Pentru ca viata nu sta pe loc, sint challenges along the way care o pun la incercare in fiecare zi... Dragostea este o mica planta de care daca ai grija iti creste, de nu, nu. Bucuriile sau problemele prin care trecem impreuna cu un partener o omoara sau, o intareste si lasa sa creasca....:) ;)
Nu ai auzit niciodata spunindu-se ´´ma leaga atitia ani´´ de persoana cutare, sau ma leaga atitia ani de trait in locul cutare ?...Timpul si (afectiunea sau) dragostea merg si ele mina in mina...
Eu am pretentia numai sa imi spun o mica parere PERSONALA cu care nici nu astept sa fie cineva de acord, despre o tema vasta pe care fiecare o simte si gindeste dupa sufletul si mintea lui(ei).
After all, desi la fel, sintem toti atit de diferiti.
Mea culpa! - de Dinu Lazar la: 14/11/2003 05:51:03
(la: O conversatie cu DINU LAZAR, fotograf)
Pe omu` respectiv il cheama Spencer Tunick. Se gasesc pe web multe poze realizate de el.
Coincidenta este ca domnia sa a fost motivul unui schimb de replici in lista de discutii Fotopro, intre mine si un fotograf american, mai putin prezent pe net - pentru ca uraste computerul - si anume Bruce Esbin.
Intii imi scrie Bruce:
===========================
Spencer Tunick, he is the DUDE!!! When someone is able to get 450
naked women to pose for them in Grand Central Station in NYC, then they are the greatest photographer in the world. Until someone is
able to do this on the Moon then his title will remain.
===========================================
La care eu raspund:
> I am very curious to see what pictures it have made...
>
> His site is ... I have not words... go here:
> http://www.spencertunick.com/individuals.html
>
> It is an idiot... This pictures are made by a groggy man... I cannot
> believe.
> Best regards,
>
> Dinu
=============================================
La care Bruce:
Though I was making a joke about Tunick being the "world's greatest
photographer". All joking aside however I do think he is a great
photographer, and I'll tell you why. Photography as you know is just a
tool that allows people to see many different things in a two
dimensional world, a world that despite being two dimensional still
enables us to experience the image on a high information level.
For me the genius of what Tunick does is showing the Homo-Sapien
species as group of animals without the usual protective barrier of
clothing in different and varied environments. Very interesting
environments at least for me. Buenos Aires, New York City, Antarctica,
Vienna, St. Petersburg, etc. all juxtaposed with a single naked human
form or in huge naked groups. It is strangely interesting because it is
something we would never see otherwise especially the groups. In that
sense it is art because it allows us to see something very unique and
thought provoking on the nature of being human.
Some people could say anyone with a camera could take a picture of a
naked person outdoors, and they would be right, however let them try
and go through the effort to organize the large groups of people and
get the permission of international city governments as Tunick
succeeded in doing. So for me Tunick is far from being an "idiot" or a
"groggy man". For me he is a genuine artist with a nice sense of humor who is exploring the human form in an interesting way through the use of photography.
==========================================
Replica mea este:
> All that you write here is a good sense and true. Seeing so, it is OK.
>
> But... the light, the composition, the color, the perspective, the art?
>
> I need only a idea, only a concept? I do not need any professional sense of the light?
>
> I believe that you understand me...
>
> When I see a picture, I give in my mind notes for technique, art (
> composition) and idea.
>
> 0+0+10/3=3,3...
=======================================
Si Bruce continua:
Sometimes the technique is secondary to the concept, sometimes the technique is the concept. What I've found refreshing with Tunick's photography is his relative lack of obvious technique, the almost snapshot like quality of his pictures, as if he just showed up accidently with a Ricoh G1 loaded with color negative film and just snapped a shot of this strangeness before him.
This is what gives it power, the utter banality of technique.
============================================================
Asa ca si intre profesionisti parerile sunt impartite.
Succesul comercial al lui Tunick este insa imens.
Mie personal nu imi place ce face. Asta nu conteaza desigur.
Am vrut sa vedeti insa dincolo de usile inchise cam cum gindesc fotografii...sau unii dintre ei.
Dupa mine, talent este sa iei o cizma si sa o fotografiezi, si sa para mai atragatoare si mai sexy decit o playmate, nu sa umpli o gara cu o suta de femei goale si sa faci glamour.
Annabel Lee
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee; —
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love —
I and my Annabel Lee —
With a love that the wingéd seraphs in Heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her high-born kinsmen came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre,
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,
Went envying her and me —
Yes! — that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we —
Of many far wiser than we —
And neither the angels in Heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee: —
For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee: —
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling — my darling — my life and my bride,
In her sepulchre there by the sea —
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
You defied your solitude,
You said you could never love me,
Photographer Helmut Newton Killed in Crash
LOS ANGELES - Acclaimed fashion photographer Helmut Newton died Friday after his car sped out of control from the driveway of the famed Chateau Marmont hotel and crashed into a wall, police said. He was 83.
AP Photo
Newton, whose work appeared in magazines such as Playboy, Elle and Vogue, was best known for his stark, black-and-white nude photos of women.
Newton apparently lost control of his Cadillac while leaving the Hollywood hotel, said Officer April Harding, a police spokeswoman. It was unclear whether he became ill while driving.
People were on the sidewalk in front of the driveway, and the car brushed a photographer heading into the hotel before crashing into the wall.
Newton was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he died a short time later, Harding said.
Newton was a trailblazer in the fashion photography world, exploring power, gender roles and an icy sexuality in his pictures.
His trademark "Big Nudes" series featured larger-than-life, black-and-white images of women that portray them as dominating the camera rather than as subjects.
Among the beautiful and powerful people Newton has photographed were Paloma Picasso, Pierre Cardin, Naomi Campbell, Jean-Marie Le Pen and Claudia Schiffer.
While Newton also photographed clothed celebrities and nature scenes, he favored photographing women, usually while they wore little more than high heels.
"He was a giant," said Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. "He was a major talent that pushed the boundaries in terms of photography and influenced many, many other photographers in following generations."
The German-born photographer said in his 2002 autobiography that when he was 15, he told his father he wanted to be a photographer. The Berlin factory owner told him, "My boy, you'll end up in the gutter. All you think of is girls and photos."
Newton, who was Jewish, fled his homeland for Singapore in December 1938, a month after Nazi-led persecution programs began. He eventually settled in Australia and became a citizen, opening a small photography studio and changing his last name to Newton from Neustaedter.
He later took up residence in Monte Carlo, overlooking the Mediterranean — a frequent backdrop for his nude images.
In the prologue to his autobiography, he said his fascination with women dated back to when he was a toddler and recalled seeing his nurse "getting ready to go out, and she is half-naked" in front of a mirror. He described it as a defining moment in his life.
In October, he donated more than 1,000 pictures to a new gallery in Berlin, saying he was proud his work would now be on display in his hometown.
Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder called Newton's decision a "sign of reconciliation."
"You can chase a man out of his home but you can't rip his home out of his soul," Schroeder said in a letter read at the news conference announcing the donation.
Newton's coldly erotic imagery often alarmed feminists as well as those with tamer sensibilities.
A hosiery ad he shot, featured on a giant billboard in Times Square for a time, was banned from the side of New York City buses in 1998 because it was deemed to be too racy. It showed a rear-end view of a woman lying face-down, wearing only a pair of stockings. A side view of her bare breast also was visible.
Newton is survived by his wife, June, who works under the name Alice Springs. She was also a favorite subject for the photographer. In one 1973 series of photos, she was portrayed as Hitler wearing a cropped mustache, with model Jerry Hall posing as Eva Braun. The Newtons had no children.
The Getty Images Money Machine
``````````````````````````````````````````````
The popular daily newspaper, USA Today, recently published a copyrighted article (by Byron Acohido) about the top stock photography agency in the world, Getty Images. Although the article focused on tracing Getty's successful rise to the top of the industry, it revealed some interesting numbers. Especially if you are considering working for the company as a freelancer.
First of all, let me reiterate my personal philosophy that I believe good
stock photography is the result of a photographer's (amateur or pro) abiding interest in specific subject areas. For example, wildlife, medicine,
education, children, aviation, sports, and so on. The resulting photographs have the opportunity to be both art and documentary. Eventually they may have historical significance and grow as an asset for a photographer's heirs. In the meantime, if the photographer finds matching markets for his or her interest areas, profits can be made.
If this is your worldview also, then you'll want to turn and run if a Getty recruiter asks you to be part of their freelancer team. Here's why.
I don't pretend to be an economics wizard, but in Pilgrim's Pride
Elementary School, I was pretty good at arithmetic. I think you'll agree
with me that the numbers presented in the USA Today article do not look pretty for freelancers.
They spin out like this.
The 2003 Getty Images gross revenue was $523.2 million, with net income of $64 million. (88% operating costs; 12% net profit). The author is quoted as saying 83% of Getty Images sales comes from freelancers. That's $434,256 ,000 in freelancer photos. Getty gives 40% of that to the freelancers.
That's $173,702,400 .
Getty has 2,500 freelancers (contributors), according to the author. That's $69,480.96 annually to a freelancer, or $190.36 per day (365/yr.).
Running a stock photo business can get to be a marathon, and get to be
expensive. Using Getty Image's own costs/net income ratio (88/12), that
would reduce a freelancer's $69,480.96 gross down to $8,337.72 net annually, or $22.84 per day. But since freelancers are known to be frugal, and government RMA annual statement studies show entrepreneurs to be Spartan,
let's lower the cost percentage (to 76%), and double the net income figure to 24% and make it $45.68 per day, ($5.75 per hour for an 8-hour day).
PRODUCING THE COMMODITY
To produce images, most of your costs are going to be eaten up in camera equipment, travel costs, insurance, lodging and meals.

Lectura de luni; de pe o lista de discutii adevarate - de Dinu Lazar la: 25/04/2004 23:25:08
(la: O conversatie cu DINU LAZAR, fotograf)
Gordon Parks is and always has been one of my personal heroes.
Born in FT Scott, KS in 1915, he spent his early years in Kansas City.
The camera was his "weapon of choice" (his phrase) to battle bigotry, racism and prejudice, upholding the very best ideals of photojournalism.
He did groundbreaking photo essays for Life magazine. But his creative energies and considerable intellect also pushed him to be a director of films, including "Shaft;" he choreographed a ballet, is a poet, musician, and author of a number of books.
In today's Kansas City Star there is an excellent page one article by Lisa Gutierrez with terrific photos by Dolores Johnson.> If you don't have access to a copy, here is the online link:

I respectfully submit that if you can afford to spend ten minutes out of what I am sure is a busy day, it would be worthwhile reading.
